Curtis W. McCauley, a third generation wood worker and carpenter, also served 10 years as a law enforcement officer, as well as being involved in volunteer firefighting and search and rescue. In August of 1984 he began training under Sa Bom Nim William Diaz, Jr. in Soo Bahk Do. Master McCaulley, now an O Dan (5th degree) and Sa Bom (master level instructor), currently trains under Master Robert Shipley III. In 1990 Mr. McCauley retired from woodworking to dedicate himself full time to the art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. He is the owner and head instructor of Channel Town Soo Bahk Do Martial Arts School, Region10's Regional Examiner and the former Board of Director representative to the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation.
